States

TelDev records call, message, session, and number status for live voice and SMS. It is not a carrier and does not advance live PSTN on its own.

Call

queued → ringing → in_progress → completed

Terminal failures: failed, busy, no_answer.

Creates start in queued. A Device at stays queued until that instant, then ringing on that Account's Device only. answer moves a call to in_progress. hangup is completed. Trial connected time 10:00 ends the session with trial_exhausted; Personal 175 ends with plan_exhausted. muted and on_hold are flags on the call object.

TelDev is not a carrier; the control plane records state. The mocked Telnyx adapter does not advance live PSTN. Test keys and missing TELNYX_API_KEY mint a mock WebRTC token and never open rtc.telnyx.com.

Message

queued → sending → sent → delivered

Terminal failures: failed, undelivered.

Creates start in queued.

Number

Seed and newly provisioned numbers are active.

Campaign approval

Approval is per MNO. cmp_12 is not approved on T-Mobile. Unknown MNO is rejected unless the campaign lists *. That is fail-closed: no proof, no send.
